Our main office is based in Noida, India. We also operate online classes, allowing students from across the globe to join us in their musical pursuits.

Do you provide offline classes?

Yes, we offer both offline and online classes. You can choose the format that best suits your needs.

Is there an age limit to join the courses?

Absolutely not! Music is for everyone, regardless of age. Our courses are tailored for all age groups, from children to adults.

Who are your teachers?

Are your teachers trained to teach kids?

All our sessions are live and interactive. Additionally, we provide recorded lessons to support your learning journey.

Before Starting Your Musical Journey

How many classes are there per week?

You can schedule up to three classes per week, with each session lasting 55 minutes.

Do I need study materials or instruments for the course?

You don’t need to worry about study materials for the classes. If you already have an instrument, feel free to bring it along. Our instructors will guide you on purchasing suitable instruments based on your goals and budget after Enrolment.

I’m an adult beginner. Where should I start?

It’s never too late to start learning music. After a trial session or consultation, our instructors will assess your musical abilities and recommend the best course to help you achieve your aspirations.

What if I miss a class?

We understand that schedules can change. You can request a reschedule, provided it aligns with both your and the teacher’s availability.

Can I enroll in multiple courses simultaneously?

Yes, you can! Whether you wish to learn different vocal styles or combine vocal and instrumental courses, our flexible scheduling allows you to manage multiple classes effectively.

How do I enroll in a course?

Based on your goals and skills assessment, you’ll receive personalised course recommendations. You can then enroll directly through our website or by contacting our team.

I live abroad. Can I still take classes?

Yes, we have students worldwide. Our flexible scheduling ensures you can find a class time that suits your timezone.

How do I choose between Hindustani and Bollywood music courses?

It’s all about your personal taste. If you enjoy classical compositions, Hindustani music may suit you. If you love popular tunes, Bollywood courses are a great choice. Our trial class or a consultation will help you decide.

How can I join the class?

To start your learning journey, follow these steps:

  2. Once logged in, you’ll see all the Upcoming classes and an option to join your upcoming class.
  3. Click the button, and it will take you directly to the video conferencing platform where your teacher will be waiting.
Can I attend the classes from my mobile?

While we recommend using a laptop, desktop, or tablet for an optimal learning experience, we understand that mobile devices can be more convenient at times. If you prefer using your mobile, we can guide you on installing the Mayoor School of Music Web App. This will ensure a seamless experience for your 1:1 live classes.

Will there be study materials provided during the course?

Once enrolled, you’ll gain access to all course materials via the Student Portal. You can log in at any time to view documents, resources, and video lessons to aid your learning.

Is the curriculum suitable for children?

Yes! Our curriculum is designed to be age-friendly and adaptable, ensuring that students of all ages can enjoy learning and singing the songs included in the course.

Can the course be customised based on a child’s interests?

Absolutely. The course is flexible and can be tailored to suit the unique preferences and musical interests of each child. Our teachers can personalise the lessons to ensure maximum engagement and learning.


Classes and Study Material

Can parents accompany children during classes?

Yes, parents are welcome to sit in during the classes. This helps them stay informed about the learning process and understand the teaching methods and tools our teachers use. It’s a great way to ensure that the child’s progress is being well-supported.

How do I know which instructor has been assigned to me?

Upon enrolment, you will receive a Welcome Email containing all the information about your course, including your assigned teacher, course schedule, and any other essential details to get you started on your musical journey. Based on your trial feedback or consultation session, we carefully select the best instructor to match your learning style and goals.

How can I provide feedback about my classes?

Who can I contact if I need help with my classes or schedule?

Our Student Support Team is always available to assist you with any questions or concerns regarding your classes or schedule. You will be assigned a dedicated support executive who will stay in touch with you for seamless communication.

Can I download the class recordings?

all your classes are recorded and available on your Student Dashboard within 24 hours after the class concludes. You can view the recordings for reference while you’re enrolled in the course. However, the recordings cannot be downloaded and are only accessible as long as you’re an active student.


Certification and Exams

How long do I have access to my study material?

You will have access to all your study materials and recordings of your classes as long as you are an active student with a valid subscription. If you take a break from the program or your subscription expires, your access to the course materials will end 30 days after the last scheduled class of your current batch.

Are all my classes recorded? Can I access them?

Yes, all your classes are recorded.This allows you to revisit and review what was taught in previous sessions.You can access the class recordings for free via your student dashboard under the “Class Recording” section, as long as you remain an active student at Mayoor School of Music.

Do you conduct written tests or exams?

No, we believe that practice and performance are the true benchmarks of learning, not written assessments.Our focus is to guide you to perform and improve continuously. If you’re pursuing the Hindustani Classical Vocal course, we also prepare you for the Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal yearly examination.

Do I receive a certificate upon course completion?

Yes! Upon successful completion of your course, you will receive a personalised certificate signed by Mayoor Chaudhary, the founder of Mayoor School of Music.

Do you have an opportunities for exposure, such as competitions or concerts?

Yes, we organise multiple talent hunts and musical events, both digitally and physically, where our students can showcase their skills.Additionally, we guide you on growing your social media presence as an artist and provide opportunities to get featured.

Can I change my class schedule during the course?

Yes, you can! You have the flexibility to reschedule up to 3 classes during the course, based on the time slots available with your teacher.


Rescheduling and Payments

What happens if I miss a class?

We understand that sometimes plans change unexpectedly.You can reschedule one class each month with no penalty if you miss or cancel it within 24 hours of the scheduled time.

What happens if my teacher cancels a class?

While our teachers are highly dedicated to providing quality education, if a class is canceled unexpectedly due to unforeseen circumstances, the schedule and lessons will automatically be adjusted.We ensure that your learning experience remains uninterrupted despite such changes.

How can I pay for the courses?

After selecting your course, you can enroll on our website www.mayoorschoolofmusic.com to complete the payment.

How do I know that my payment has been successfully made?

Once your payment is complete, you will see a confirmation message on the screen and will receive a notification email to confirm the transaction.

Is online payment secure?

Yes, online payments are secure. We use trusted payment gateways like PayuMoney (INR) and PayPal (Other Currencies) to ensure your transactions are safe.We also accept most credit and debit cards.
